Well there isn’t really a reliable source for free music downloads and it is illegal since the artist’s won’t get paid for their work. The best, and cheapest way to get music downloads is through MP3Lingo.com. They offer unlimited music downloads for only a few bucks a month. It’s much cheaper than any other site I’ve came across and they are 100% legal paying the artist for their hard work in making music you enjoy. They also have just about every song in every genre. Check them out at http://www.mp3lingo.com when you get a chance.

I suggest finding blog groups that cover the genre of music you like. Most of the time these blog groups are affiliated with radio stations/dj's and receive mp3's of new music and makes the mp3's avail for download to the public. For example, for hip-hop I go to onsmash.com. They get new music daily for download and it's safe.

Far less fakes and spam. Limewire, Kazaa, etc are full of mis-named songs, spam, corrupted songs, etc. Soulseek is 100% better.

Emule or Edonkey has the best selection, but takes a long time to get the downloadds.

lime wire isnt a good place it gets alot of viruses and spyware but Frost wire is really good its what i use and its free!
